FAQS
Do you take adult patients?
Yes! Although I’m board-certified as a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I’m also board-certified to see adults. If you think we would be a good fit, click here to start registration.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
While I don’t have a physical office space for patients, I do offer home visits for a rate that includes travel time. If you’re interested in an in-person appointment, I’m happy to discuss the details after the virtual intake.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, I don’t accept insurance. The reality is, insurance companies often have too much influence on care, dictating everything from treatment modalities to treatment frequency and duration — at the expense of what’s best for the patient. Not taking insurance gives me much greater flexibility to tailor your treatment to your specific needs.
Which diagnoses do you treat?
I treat a broad range of diagnoses in psychiatry. From attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) all the way to treating psychosis with a medication like Zyprexa, I feel incredibly comfortable providing both individual therapy and medication management.
Common diagnoses I treat include:
-Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)
-Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
-Social Anxiety Disorder
-Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD)
-Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
-Bipolar Disorder
-Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
-Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
-Insomnia
